2015 Convention

15conbannerThe 2015 LPCO State Convention is almost upon us! This year’s Convention will be held at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Aurora, Colorado from Friday, April 24th to Sunday, April 26th, 2015. (Add this event to Google Calendar or an Outlook or iCal Calendar.)

Join us Friday evening for the Liberty Luau! This event is sponsored in large part by the Libertarian Party of Arapahoe County. It may be chilly, or even downright cold, outside, but we’ll be celebrating in the style of the tropics inside. Don your Hawaiian shirts and grass skirts. There will be a dance presented by Polynesian dance group Kalama. Rumor has it there may even be a hula contest!

Nationally-recognized SpeakersSaturday and Sunday will be filled with seminars from many amazing speakers, including Libertarian Party of Washington State Chair, and Libertarian Leadership author, C. Michael Pickens! Saturday afternoon, Nicholas Sarwark, Chair of the Libertarian National Committee, will deliver an inspiring keynote speech to kick-off the business portion of the 2015 LPCO Convention.

LPCO always needs amazing activists, enthusiastic members, and volunteers for the behind-the-scenes work that is the backbone of our Party. Take part in discussions, learn about the issues facing us today, and discover just how much you are an integral part of the Libertarian Party. Want to run for office in 2016? We’ll have informative panels and seminars for beginners and seasoned candidates alike. Whatever your level of involvement, we invite you to take part, and make your voice heard!

Don’t forget the Banquet Saturday evening, filled with great food, friendly people, and a Banquet Speech presented by Larry Sharpe, Strategy Director of the New York City Bastiat Society,  Eastern Region Deputy Director of Our America Initiative, and host of the Ivory Tower Radio Program.

Sunday, All-access holders can join Judge Jim Gray, 2012 Libertarian Party Vice-Presidential Candidate, for a rousing speech and light breakfast before the seminars begin.  Also on Sunday, Jay North of the Douglas County LP Development Group will present a concealed carry course FREE OF CHARGE to those who have purchased All-access admission.
